SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER, was FANTASTIC, we went to sonic happy hour, made an obstacle course, made paper plate animals, hiked nature trails, slept on the trampoline, saw and let off our own fireworks 3 times, had a WII tournament, went to a build and grow clinic at Lowes, made pin wheels, played hide and seek in the dark and light, and sardines, went on numerous bike rides, went bowling, visited Lansing, had a google day, built a pinata, saw a parade, swam in a pool, had dessert for dinner...lots of dessert, played board games all day, made crafts, stayed in our pajamas all day, painted rocks, went fishing and camping, we slipped and slidded, made lake shell art, had a water fight, had a side walk chart art show, went to the aquatic center for dollar days, made a blanket fort, designed colored sand, held our very own summer Olympics, went to a movie, saw water dance, had a family baseball and soccer tournament, watched all Star Wars movies, went to summer camp at the bass pro shops, flew kites, Ethan built a speed and agility course, visited a few museums, roasted marshmallows, learned about our flag and made one, wrote letters to family and friends, graduated from intern year, and received more diplomas, took pictures of cute hands, performed secret service, did one thing off the list 50 THINGS EVERY KID SHOULD DO IN DETROIT,we read over 100 books as a whole family, went to story time (Sam,) saw concerts at the park and the library, caught fish, went to science camp, scout camp, and Lego camp, saw a play, had cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents visit, went to Lake Michigan twice, had great checkups at the dentist, double physicals for our soon to be Kindergartners, spent every spare minute at the beach playing in the sand and water, We had so much FUN!!!

I picked the kids up with a picnic,and swim suits and went straight to
the beach, I LIVE AN AMAZING LIFE, Kate and my feet showing what summer is all about.

In May Aunt Melinda sent us a jar full of candy
which we were supposed to eat one piece a day
until we left for the airport to pick them up,
the kids would look at the jar and still
ask is it today, I took a picture of them eating the last 5 pieces!!!

Summer camp at the Bass Pro Shops, was super fun, Ethan was able to accomplish Scout requirements, and electives, and all kids could participate in the fun,

Sam visited the moon...or the dress up drawers.
He also has the best 2 year old hands around!!!
Fourth of July Parade, each neighborhood has a weekend to celebrate,
so ultimately we can celebrate for weeks which we did,
but the parade is on the actual day, and it was a nice warm day.
The Cragun's joined us for the parade, then we headed to the river to kayak,
picnic and play.
The whole crew, we supplied a pinata for an evening BBQ.
Nate's last night of being an intern, he has now graduated
and is enjoying his roll as a resident now
